Villa Roderbourg is situated in the lower part of main street Grunewald Koenigsallee which is an extension of Berlin´s famous shopping and entertainment boulevard Kurfürstendamm, aka Ku´Damm. It forms the part of Grunewald which has been preserved best. Thus, the interested visitor will find, in addition to the neighboring Villa Goldschmidt, a number of other historic architectural landmarks in the close vicinity.

Right across the street are the famous Villa Rathenau as well as an early work of Heinrich Straumer who has become famous as the architect of the Berlin radio tower "Funkturm", Berlin´s answer to the Eiffel Tower. A unique feature of the Funkturm is the fact that it sits on huge porcelain insulators which were produced by the Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur KPM, a porcelain producer founded by the King of Prussia with major help of employees poached from Meissen®.

Around the corner, opposite the renowned Berlin tennis club LTTC Rot-Weiss e.V. which caters the annual Quatar Telecom German Open in its Steffi Graf stadium, the impressive Villa Konschewski, also dubbed as Oberhaardter Schloss towers over Hundekehle lake. In parallel Douglasstraße, Villa Harteneck with its splendid architecture and garden and its high–class interior decoration and flower store waits to be discovered.

On nearby Hagenplatz, the restaurants Wiener Café, Bosco Verde, Capriccio and Reinhard´s Landhaus invite the guest to stay. In the other direction, the Grunewald forest provides for great nature moments. Grunewald forest is also famous for Berlin´s largest dog walking area around Grunewaldsee and the Jagdschloss Grunewald, the oldest preserved castle in Berlin.

With the Schlosshotel im Grunewald in the former Pannwitz palais which has been redecorated by famous Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld, the area last but not least presents Berlin´s most unique five star hotel.
